14x18 oil on oil primed linen canvas Signed: Lower right MFlack Completed: November 2014
Artist’s Comments:
I have always enjoyed watching the coastal waves and listening to their thundering as they crash against the rocky shore! In this painting, I wanted to convey not only the sound but the cold spray of water as it bursts against the rocks. I hope as you study this painting, that you will begin to sense the misty salt spray in the air, and the music of the waves.
